an old known panther come visit us at camp

the campfire inside our camp

"Dani... are you there?" Shirin screams loudly

"Who are you ? And how do you know Dani ?" *asked Svava*

"I am.... oh ... by the priestkings... how you dare... !! I am Shirin... i guess your people know me pretty well. Who are you... clueless Panther?"*answered Shirin*

Svava Hjartafvetr's jaw drops as she remember the name from a long, long ago. Back when she was with the Tre'Sha Jerag. "Shirin..is that REALLY you ? I'm Svava. Red haired, pale skinned from the Tre'Sha Jerag ?"

Shirin Pfeffer laughs hard... "There are many reasons to vomit ... you are surely one of the strongest" Shirin shook her head. "Show yourself.... or are you too anxious to meet an old..... friend?"

گổηΐã here a voice coming from the river , she seem recognize this grumbly voice , then she go on the platform, she looks down and sees Shirin, finally thinks of one of Dani's old friend, so she places her hands around her mouth to respond with shouting loudly ... "Tal Shirin, * she shout with a small Smile * you are looking for Dani, she no longer lives here, the weather is too rigorous for her, she decided to immigrate more in the south, where the climate is more temperate "...

Svava Hjartafvetr made her way to the platform jutting out across the river from the log bridge to show herself to Shirin. For a few moments she eyed the blonde woman shrewdly* "True..you're a old acquitance....you were a friend back then. Sort of. But now, I don't know. What happened to you in the years past ?"

do you think it's good to invite her in the camp Svava ? *ask گổηΐã*

we are two and she seem to be lonely *said گổηΐã*

Svava Hjartafvetr glances over to Sonia "You can invite her in. Unarmed if possible. Ask her to lay her arms down outside the gate - maybe she'll agree"

Shirin Pfeffer shakes her fist: "What? Dani is no longer here? You are kidding. " Shirin focused then on Svava again... her old rival then turned to Sonia "Is that the answer to the gorean tribes? You are rebuilding the TreSha Jerag quitely by using a new name?

Shirin if you want talk to us , come close , remove your weapons , keep it nears the ladder, you will be safe into our camp you have our words ..*Shout گổηΐã*

Shirin Pfeffer spits in the river: "I would rather die as to face this redhead without weapons. How comes you think i would act such naive? "

Svava Hjartafvetr crosses her arms and chews her lower lip thoughtfully for a while focusing on Shirin* "Well, yes quite a few of the Tre'Sha have returned. Annie. Conny - well under another name. Amber, Zahl. I haven't heard from Jaxon yet. Is it because I had you captive in the past you're worried about me ?" *smiles wolfishly* "What if I promise not to harm or capture you ?"

"come to the bridge... and we can talk. That is just fair and still dangerous enough for ME" *Shout Shirin*

گổηΐã frowns ... maybe yes or maybe not , i don't know you enough for jusdge *giggles* ... but if i gave you my words , i'm an Elder here and Svava will not act agains you i promise ... she will keep quiet untill you try bad things when you are our guest ... so it's your choice , to continu to shouting like this untill we attire some hunters with our crie, or coming in our camp to talk quietly in the safety and the warm of our campfire ..

Svava Hjartafvetr nods sagely at Sonia's words "She's right..we keep shouting...sooner or later one of the Red Caste or a slaver will hear all that shouting and investigate. We'd be safe in our own camp. But you on the other hand..you're exposed and vulnerable out there.." *smiles*

Shirin Pfeffer laid down her weapons near the huge tree trunk. "Oh be cursed!! ... Good.... i am unarmed now. "

Svava Hjartafvetr shouts: "By the way..I see you're not dressed for the winter. We might have a fur blanket to warm you at the fire too. Come on in" *turns towards the gate to welcome Shirin in*

As I see how you are vetted, you do not have to be too hot, unless the cold does you nothing, but I do not think, if you do not move, if you do not warm up soon your body will be too numb To act and you risk falling like a stone in the river where you will flow at the bottom like a mass ... I know it is your choice, but be intelligent and come to warm you near us, you risk nothing *Said گổηΐã*

"Lets sit next to the fire mh? "*Shirin Pfeffer added*

yes lets go at the campfire* گổηΐã said*

"Of course. Come this way" *gestures towards the logs placed around a crackling fire*Adds Svava*

گổηΐã: take a seat and warm you with this nice fire

Shirin Pfeffer eyes svava carefully. Shirin in some way wanted to pay back some things to her... but it has been such a long time before. "So... Dani is gone? Why?"

Svava Hjartafvetr : "One moment" *springs up from the stump she sat upon to make her way towards the tent to retrieve a large fur cloak. Returning to the camp fire, she held out the extra fur cloak out to Shirin "Here. It'll get you warmer faster" *she smiled thinly - she hadn't missed Shirin's apprehensive glance her way* "By the way...are you with another panther band those days ?"

Shirin Pfeffer snuggles into the large fur and did not want to show too much that she was suffering a lot from the cold. Shirin indeed was poorly dressed for this cold part of the forests. "Me? I am hunting here and there.... thats a good recipe to avoid dieing from hunger... and you?"

گổηΐã shrug .... you know Dani well and know her temper aswell ... so we had some concern about others sister some disagreement , we were completely out of agreement and Dani decided to leave with her band further south ... I decided to stay here not to follow her it was time we each take our own way

Svava Hjartafvetr : "Hunting in wintertime is difficult...it would have been easier to just migrate to greener lands until the snow melted away, Shirin" her fierce gaze locks on the other woman's face* "I'm used to the harsh winter - you might remember I'm originally from Torvaldsland. So I know how to survive in such climates" *digs into her pouch and pulls out some dried tabuk meat strips and held them out to Shirin* "Eat. You must be starved" *She hadn't missed the fact that Shirin had not answered her question about her allegiance to a band - if she was in one at all*

Shirin Pfeffer took the bosk stripes and began to chew on them. In the same moment she remembered on a moment when Svava was offering something in the Camp of the Tresha Jerag. Shirin frowns and stopped eating for a short moment. "No tricks... Svava... i warn you. And ... i am indeed hunting on my own. I was hunting for Lina for a whole while... but left their camp since a while.... "

Svava Hjartafvetr's lips curl in a sardonic smile with her pale green eyes glittering dangerously* "The whole concept of accepting food from another's hand signifying submission is myth. Only the naive and credulous fall for it. The only true submission is one given freely and from the heart, Shirin" *Lina ? Do you mean the Ja'Lina ?"

Shirin Pfeffer bared her teeth and said: "You made me believe that... i was young and thought i have to accept the collar.... you wicked thing. " Shirin even blushed for a short moment... for old sakes... but then quickly added: "It is Linas Band... not more ... not less. And... better do not ask me more... i feel still loyal to them. Not hunting on their side does not say that i am their rival... got it... SVAVA.... "

Svava Hjartafvetr : "I see you've moved on from being naive, Shirin" *she smiled thinly and slid her hand under her cloak to untie the leather cords holding her heavy bota and unstoppered the cork from the wooden spout and took a sip from it. All the while eyeing Shirin* "But that's in the past. Did you move from it as well ?" *she asked Shirin pointedly* "What you do with the Lina or have ties with them is not my affair. Sonia's declared you our guest and that's it. You won't come to any harm here as a guest"

Shirin Pfeffer stretched herself and smirked... after a while she spoke with a quite deep and strong voice: "I even had my own tribe.... we were quite successful for the most of the time. Mita Canta was its name. Yes... i indeed.... stopped being naive. Even when setting my feet inside of this camp might be some kind of that. I wonder how you survived .... Svava. It was such a pity i was not strong enough in time to send you to the chains you belong into" Shirin said laughing softly... still angry of the time of being a captive of the Tresha Jerag.

Svava Hjartafvetr let Shirin's implied threat pass with a sly smile of her own "I remember the Mita Canta...they took up Red Savage customs and clothing more or less ? And I've always survived - that is what Torvaldslanders do best because where I come from it's a very harsh land. Just like it is right now here" Shirin Pfeffer so much hoped to make Svava angry. "Oh shut up.... what we did... or what we did not... is our thing. We were able to resist to the attacks of the Vellas... and this is what counts. Keep your insults for yourself.... Svava. Seems for good reasons i never liked you Torvaldslanders... " Shirin smirked and leaned back again... trying to calm down

Svava Hjartafvetr : "I'm going to remind you that you are a guest here. Sonia here.." *gestures her hand towards her* "has graciously offered you hospitality and warmth from the bitter cold. So don't abuse it" *Her pale eyes harden to the consistency of blue ice* with her lips tightening in a grim line* "But..have a drink" *holds out her opened bota out to Shirin. "It's spiced mead. It'll warm your belly right up" Shirin Pfeffer replied with the same icy gaze. Shirins pale blue eyes were glowing in passion... she had found her old rival finally. Shirin lifted her hand and pointed at the Bota... "You drink first.... "

Svava Hjartafvetr : "You were always nervous around me. Frightened at times" *her mercurial green eyes gazed upon Shirin thoughtfully* "I've already drunk from it...but to allay your concerns..you can watch me drink it again..like so" *lifts up the bota and takes a slow and leisurely sip while eyeing Shirin out of the corner of her eye with ill concealed amusement and theatrically held out the bota* "There..that wasn't so bad was it ?" *she grinned wolfishly*

Shirin Pfeffer nearly ripped the bota out of svavas hands. "Not that bad... " If there was anything that hurts Shirin... then it was her hurt pride. And Svava had done that quite well in the past. "Well i wont propose a toast now.... or... well ... Lets say... drink on meeting eachother again mh? If we like it or not" Shirin smirked and took a good sip. Wondering if the taste of the fluid was like it should be. But Mead had so many variants. Hard to say.

Svava Hjartafvetr : *The mead is surprisingly delicate with a hint of spices and the right amount of sweetness not overpowering the moderaely honey taste. She just smiled watching Shirin almost angrily rip the bota out of her hand sensing that she must've gotten under her skin...even after all those years* "I do look forward to our next meeting. You'll be armed that time around won't you ? And...you did look so pretty with a collar around your neck" *murmurs, trying to goad her on*

Shirin Pfeffer reached back the bota to Svava and said: "I thank you.... and... i also thank you for still giving me plenty of reasons to push your arrogant face into the mud when i ever get the chance. I should go now.... watch your back!"

Svava Hjartafvetr rose up along side Shirin and calmly accepted the bota back* "Shall I show you out ?" *nods towards the gate, half expecting her to bolt out the gate like a frightened tabuk. The mental picture almost made her laugh out loud but she managed to keep her expression non commital. She was very good at masking her true feelings after all*
